REET Exam Cancel News : CM Gehlot cancelled REET level 2 Exam, check re-conduction of exam

The Rajasthan government has cancelled REET Exam 2021 due to paper leak controversy. The announcement comes in the wake of massive protests carried out by candidates demanding the cancellation of exams after reports of a paper leak and irregularities in the exam.

REET Exam 2021 Leak
Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers (REET) Exam conducted in 2021 was leaked by Ramkripal Meena. The SOG has said that a man named Ramkripal Meena who was employed by the district coordinator for the REET examination, had stolen one question paper after opening the envelope when the papers arrived at the Shiksha Sankul. 
Effect of REET Exam Paper Leak

REET Exam is conducted for selection of students in Teacher. But the exam conducted in 2021 was leaked and was being sold. This had effect on students who are good in studies. By this students those are good at there studies put behind and students who bought the paper had been ahead. So cadidates raise voice against the paper leak and forced government to cancel the exam and conduct again. 

Now the recruitment exam will be held in two phases
CM Gehlot said that REET Level 1 and Level 2 will take the total to 62 thousand. 15 thousand posts of level 1 will remain separate. As before, the eligibility test will be taken. The validity will be lifelong. Subject wise separate exams will be conducted. After the eligibility test, there will be a recruitment test.
It is  noted that this exam was conducted on 26th and 27th September. In this, more than 23 lakh candidates appeared for the examination. REET was conducted for a total of 32 thousand posts. Level-1 had 15 thousand 500 and level-2 had 16 thousand 500 posts, but the paper was leaked before the exam. The paper reached more than 33 centers. After the paper leak case came to light for the first time from Gangapur City, SOG started its investigation and it came to light that the paper was leaked from the education complex. SOG has arrested more than 35 people including Ramkripal, Udayalal, Bhajanlal, Battilal and Prithvi Lal.
More than 35 arrests in REET Exam Paper Leak
So far more than 35 people have been arrested in the SOG reet paper leak case. Its flame had even reached the Board of Secondary Education. After this the chairman DP Jarauli had to be sacked, while the secretary was suspended. The SOG has already arrested the co-ordinator Pradeep Parashar. The connection of paper leak has reached from Jaipur to Barmer and Jalore.
